In 2004 she became faculty at the University of Wisconsin\, Madison\, where today she is the Director of the Preclinical Parkinson’s Research Program at the Wisconsin National Primate Research Center\, and the Steenbock Professor of Behavioral and Neural Science in th department of Medical Physics. \n\n\n\nDr. Emborg’s research aims to understand and find solutions for patients with neurodegenerative disorders. She leads a team dedicated to creating platforms for analyzing neurodegeneration across the lifespan\, in order to identify biomarkers and treatment targets.
