Movement Through Music // Fitness & Boxing (Classes)

San Jose

Class Description

Movement Through Music is a 45-minute class that aims to get the body moving in all planes of motion while listening to a variety of music. The class is a fun way to get your body swaying, reaching high and low, rotating, moving forwards, backwards and to the side. There are opportunities to have one or two-pound weights if anyone wants a bit of added resistance. Every class includes one song where we all exercise the muscles in our throat by singing a song together. In addition, we also conduct to music - it's an excellent way to initiate flowing upper body movement while also using the lower body, too. Music can be an emotional experience and you may find yourself using your facial muscles more than you normally do. The Parkies Punch Back fitness and boxing class is a 60-minute workout that includes balance, hand & eye and foot & eye coordination, strength training, agility, cognitive activities and boxing (speed bag, heavy bags and focus mitts).
