Join us for a Parkinson’s cooking class! Learn how to make turmeric pancakes with Swank and Swine Executive Chef Alexander Sullivan-Parker.

The evening will begin with a Parkinson’s cooking demonstration. During the demonstration, you’ll learn how to make turmeric pancakes (Bahn Xeo). Then we’ll fill them with market vegetables and Vietnamese herbs. Finally we’ll top them with nouc cham and peanut condiment.

Turmeric has long been used as a spice and medicinal herb. The active ingredient in turmeric, curcumin, is a powerful antioxidant with strong anti-inflammatory properties.
