Presenter bio:
Daniel Corcos, PhD obtained a doctorate in motor control from the University of Oregon. His research interests include helping people with Parkinson’s disease (PD) improve their quality of life, mobility and cognition, and slowing disease progression. His group develops interventions (such as resistance exercise, endurance exercise, stretching, and balance training) to reduce symptoms and delay disease progression. He is also interested in developing outreach programs that ensure the inclusion of diverse participants his studies and fostering outreach programs that impact minority communities.
